Sport has always been my passion and I've taken part in pretty much all of them. School teams for football, cricket, tennis, county level badminton, you name it and I've done it.
After leaving school I drifted towards endurance sport, running for my local club Horwich Harriers before finding triathlon and never looking back. I've competed at all levels and distances in triathlon all over the world, but prefer middle distance the most.

Another passion which I have been lucky enough to develop over the past few years is working with children, delivering Bikeability in primary schools as well as the junior swim session I run one evening, we have some super talented young athletes in this country and it's important to develop them and maintain their enjoyment for sport.

Triathlon is my life, my hobby and now my full time job as a coach. They say if you love your job you'll never work a day in your life and I can confirm that is the case.
