I hold a Masters degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and am a certified exercise physiologist (CSEP-CEP). I specialize in applying exercise physiology and high performance training principles to everyday athletes.
An enthusiastic runner and triathlete myself, I have turned my passion into purpose, and strive to help athletes realize their training potential.
I currently reside in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, but am thrilled to be able to share in the triumphs and help tackle the challenges of athletes close to home, and across the globe, who look to go beyond what they thought possible in endurance sport.
I have been a competitive runner for the past 8 years, and have taken on triathlon as a logical next step 4 years ago, now competing regularly both on- and off-road. I have experienced growth as both an athlete and coach through an education in high performance sport physiology, and a lifetime of being a 'student of sport'. I am passionate about applying my background to help runners and triathletes realize their athletic potential. Furthermore, I have 4 years experience working as a clinical Kinesiologist and am able to help those with an injury history adapt their training to be able to improve performance while managing risk.
Some notable recent personal achievements are a PR marathon of 2:49:27, half marathon of 1:20:02 and having qualified to compete on the National AG World Championship team in Triathlon for 2017.
