Megan is a triathlon and rowing coach with over 20 years of coaching and personal training experience. Megan's passion is coaching and teaching with a particular interest in developing newer adult athletes, or the athlete who has developed themselves somewhat within their sport, but looking for more of a competitive edge.
Megan Hanewald started her competitive athletics career with rowing in high school and cannot imagine her life without sports and training. Megan is a level 1 USAT certified triathlon coach with 13 years of triathlon experience, including 5 Ironman 70.3 finishes with 2 planned for 2020. Megan is also an NASM certified personal trainer, ICG indoor cycling trainer and level IV USRowing coach with 20 years of competitive rowing experience. When Megan isn't training and competing in triathlon, she is rowing in the off season. She earned a gold medal in the 2018 FISA World Masters Regatta in the women's B 2x and most recently a gold medal in USRowing Masters Nationals in 2019 in the women's C 4x. Megan is also currently an indoor cycling instructor with Echelon, an app-based in home cycling studio and teaches numerous weekly classes varying from 20 minutes to 75 minutes in length.
