My name is Bryan McCrystal currently residing in Ireland and I like to work with enthusiastic age group triathletes and amateur cyclists who have an open mind to change. I believe age groupers and amateurs alike tend to train too hard. Consistency, timing and patience are the keys to any training plan and I hope to bring all my athletes to the next level.
I am a coach and athlete from Ireland. I still compete at an elite level in cycling and triathlon. I started endurance sports in 2008 after a 10 year Soccer career where I played professionally and at ametuer level for Leeds Utd and continued to the ameteur ranks in Ireland.
Through injury I was introduced to triathlon and I haven't looked back since. In Triathlon I won National Championships in Duathlon, Triathlon, ETU AG Gold and I currently hold the Irish Ironman Record at 8hrs 30 mins. My 70.3 personal best is 3hrs 58 mins.
In cycling I have won Team national championships, National series and numerous one day wins over the years.
Its my passion to keep learning and evolving as an athlete and coach.
