Coach Bio

At Moving Forward, we like to focus on the most individualized approach with each of our athletes. We focus on three key components to your athletic success:

  • Technique improvement with any of the disciplines (swimming, biking, running, Nordic skiing, etc.)
  • Performance Testing: Time Trials, Functional Threshold Power and Power Profiling
  • Highly individualized training plans - updated weekly

All of our athletes are given individualized training plans and sessions. No two athletes are alike.

I have over 25 years of endurance training, racing, and coaching under my belt. Over the years I have competed in both on-road and off-road (XTERRA) triathlons along with numerous trail and road running races. Currently, I primarily train to improve my cross country skiing. Technique triumphs over all, no matter the sport. I can improve your performance with any distance of race, regardless of discipline.

I am a USA Triathlon Level 1 Coach, hold advanced specialization with NASM as a Performance Enhancement Specialist, and earned my Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Development from Montana State University in beautiful Bozeman, Montana.

If there is snow on the ground, I am going cross country skiing, but I swim, bike, run and train in other sports year round as well.

Sometimes life throws you a curve ball and you have to know how to adapt. I will help educate, empower, and engage you as an athlete so you can achieve your best!

My philosophy is to have fun with your training and on race day. Whether you want to win or just want to have fun, please let me know how I can assist you in your endurance endeavors.
