B -- balance
E -- efficiency
C -- consistancy
B is the eternal goal. We need to always find out the balance point in every aspect as well as between every aspect. It's the art of compromise because everything can always be better but never "prefect".
E is the secret for success in long distance sports. Simply speaking, who can use less energy to do the same or even more, who will be the winner.
C is the way to succeed. The challenge for IRONMAN race is not the 140.6 miles distance at race day, but the distance to cover in every training sessions. Day in, day out, doing everything properly in everyday will bring you to the finish line.
