I’ve been a cyclist and racing since the early 90’s. For the last 10 years I have mentored and advised cyclists of different levels and abilities. I’m a fluent English and Spanish speaker, with love for all life beings and our mother earth driven me to become vegetarian- Vegan.
I grew up between Mexico, Northern California and Puerto Rico. By education I’m a Mechanical Engineer, with a certifications in Nutrition and Physiology. By passion I’m a cyclist and a mentor to others. I love to test nutrition protocols, equipment and tinker with stuff to improve upon existing concepts and designs. Racing my bike MTB or Road using a Power meter has been the best tool to learn, improve and develop.
I started as a very young kid, racing and working as a bike mechanic. Later, as I further developed as an athlete, I was a multi-time member of the Puerto Rico National Team in MTB, U23 XCO & STXC National Champion.
Since living in California, I focused on racing at Masters division and a few PRO races. I have been fortunate to be on the USA Masters team for the World Championships (Placing 4th in 2017), on the podium of the USA MTB National Championships and won multiple times the CA-State Championships. Venturing into ultra-endurance I have done MTB Leadville Trail 100 and other events.
For the future I’m looking to continue placing in the top podium. If you are pining a number.. then lets race!
