I became a certified running coach in 2015 & earned my Level II certification in 2017. I have coached athletes to Boston Marathon qualifying times and to the World Duathlon Championships. I have also coached many runners to their first 5k, half marathon, and marathon races as well as varying triathlon distances. I have a unique background where I can relate to individuals on both ends of the spectrum. I have struggled through over 5 hours on a marathon, and have also run sub 3-hour marathons.
I’ve learned over the years that having a healthy balance in your life is the key to happiness and overall wellness. I have also learned proven methods to maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle! I understand that everybody is different. What works for me or what may work for others may not work for you. I get to know each individual and I find what works best for you.
Whether you are training for a specific event, or you want to lose some weight and become physically healthier, the key is to start slowly. My focus is to keep my clients injury-free while still experiencing progress. Most of us take 20 years to get into poor shape yet we want to become fit and healthy in 20 days. My goal is to instill lasting lifestyle changes with each client for long-term health success.
It’s about the journey. Whether your goal is to be able to complete a 5k without walking, or to qualify for the New York & Boston Marathons or the IRONMAN Championships in Kona, HI. The key is to have fun and enjoy your progress along the way. I will help you enjoy your fitness journey.
