I believe running is for everyone, whether you're starting from scratch or taking your first steps into structured training. For many years I've helped beginner and improving runners build confidence, train consistently and achieve goals they never thought possible. My plans combine clear structure with practical coaching, designed to fit around real life and keep training enjoyable and purposeful.
I came to running later in life, so I know first-hand what it's like to start from the beginning. That experience shapes my coaching today. I understand the questions, doubts and challenges that many new runners face, and I believe everyone deserves a plan that is realistic, encouraging and built around their own journey.
For several years I've coached runners preparing for their first 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon and beyond. I particularly enjoy helping runners who are new to structured training, showing them that consistent, purposeful training doesn't have to take over their lives.
My coaching philosophy is simple: train with purpose, adapt when life gets in the way, and enjoy the process. A good training plan should support your life, not compete with it, and building flexibility into your training is often the key to long-term success.
I'm a UK Athletics Endurance Event Group Coach, Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF) and Fell, Hill & Off Road Leader in Running Fitness (LiRF). I'm also a UESCA Certified Ultrarunning Coach. I've also been leading trail runs for several years, which has given me plenty of experience supporting runners at different stages of their journey.
