Chris Lutz   BWG Elite Triathlon

Chris is a former All-American and NCAA Division I athlete with over 15 years of competitive swimming experience prior to entering Elite triathlon in 2010. He believes in a practical balance of art and science in his training that can help his athletes find the right approach to reach personal bests and enjoy the process in getting there! The personal level of individual coaching offered is a full long-term commitment throughout the season; from pre-season planning to championship race day.

    Former National Team Assistant Coach – OLY Swimming (Rochester, MI)

  • 4x USA Swimming Short Course Central Zone Sectional Team Titles (2008, ’09,’10, ’13)
  • 2x MI Swimming Long Course State Team Titles (2010, ’12)
  • 2 Individual’s coached represented the OLY program at the 2012 US Olympic Team Swimming Trials

In 6+ years of coaching triathlon, Chris and his athletes have accomplished together:

  • Age-Group World Championship Qualifiers in both Sprint & Olympic distances
  • Multiple Ironman Age-Group Finisher personal bests
  • Individual Overall 70.3 Age-Group Podium
  • Multiple Age-Group athletes personal bests in running events 5k, 10k, Half and Full Marathon, and Ultra distance marathon finishers of 50k and 50 miles
