I am based in Llangollen, North Wales but am happy to help you remotely wherever you are in the world. I am a qualified fitness instructor and coach in running fitness.

I was born in Cheshire but moved to North Wales in 2009, and now live in Llangollen. I had always yo-yo'd with my weight and never enjoyed sport as a child. After having my third child I put on A LOT of weight, I couldn't even face getting on the scales.
I loved skating so gave Roller Derby a try, several years later I was a coach, assessor, head chair for the club I founded and was also selected to feature in a Channel 4 programme on the sport. It was during filming that I suffered a nasty collision that resulted in my patella dislocating in my knee, and my ACL was severed.
I discovered the toll a serious sporting injury places on everyday life not just on the track. I had ACL reconstruction and started cycling during my recovery. Four months later I finished 3rd in the Cheshire Cycletta and became a Strava addict in the process.
I once again put on a lot of weight having my last child. I became over 19 stone and just walking up the stairs was a struggle. Pregnancy doesn't agree with me!
In 2018 I became a Run Leader and started Llangollen Running Club. The ethos of the Club is to run together and never leave anyone behind.
In 2019 I qualified as a Coach in Running Fitness with British Athletics and started my journey to become a Personal Trainer because I love to help people.
In 2020 I will continue that training and also become a qualified biomechanic so that I can help my clients strengthen their weaknesses and prevent injuries and health problems in the future.
