Lexi believes in empowering a client to reach their full potential both in fitness, and in life. From seasoned ultra runners to novice road racers, it is important to understand why you are being assigned particular workouts and be included in the planning.
Lexi has been a lifelong runner, which included racing varsity track and cross country, as well as Olympic Development Nordic Skiing through high school. She continued to race club Nordic in college, while also finding a knack in Adventure Racing; but did not pursue running further until discovering the marathon post-collegiate. She developed a passion for learning about the science behind the sport, first as a hobby, then as a career.
After leaving a career in the Mental Health field, Lexi began coaching as a way to share her passion for helping people find themselves through strength and adventure. She received her Run Coach Certification through the United Endurance Sports Coaching Association, and have coached, paced, and empowered athletes through race distances from a 2 Mile Army Physical Fitness Test to Mountain 100 Mile Races.
She loves running long, technical races, but also enjoys pushing the speed to mix things up.
She is knowledgeable in the areas of training at altitude, working through injuries, building strength in new or returning runners, and working with clients with both physical and mental health conditions that cause training to be more difficult.
Lexi is an advocate of using compassion and empowerment to help clients grow in knowledge and strength while training for their next big goal.
Outside of coaching and training, Lexi spends her time writing freelance and learning/ growing as a parent to an amazing and wild toddler.
