At LAVA we don’t do average. LAVA’s coaching programs work for athletes wanting that “next percent” in performance.
Inspired by the High Performance training model of elite athletes, LAVA adapted the approach to develop the Whole Athlete System for age group athletes. It involves response-based training, nutrition, technique analysis, performance therapy, performance testing, Key Performance Indicators, mental, tactical and racing skills - and lots of communication!!

I am a NCCP Triathlon Canada Coach, NCCP Swim Coach and Certified Sport Performance Nutrition Specialist for age group and youth athletes. I understand what it takes to set goals, commit to the training, work hard and dream big.
As a 3x Triathlon AG ITU Team Canada athlete, 2x Boston Marathon Qualifier, NYC Marathon Qualifier and Ultrarunner, I know the age group lifestyle and what it takes to smash big goals!
LAVA’s mission reflects my own purpose … though not an elite athlete, I want to TRAIN and COMPETE like one. I want access to all the same expertise, resources and support systems. I want to be the absolute best I can be! That is what led me to develop the Whole Athlete System.
Applying advanced training principles reflecting the most current science, Lava uses a response-based methodology to ensure continuous adaptation and avoid the dreaded plateau.
I am also passionate about sport performance nutrition and the profound impact it has on training and racing. As a Certified Sport Performance Nutrition Specialist I provide recommendations and offer 1-on-1 Nutrition Coaching.
Above all else I value communication, as I believe it is the key to building and refining your training sessions and designing successful programs that will elicit adaptations and best results, keep you injury free, engaged and loving the sport.
