Founded in 2013 by Dr. Barry Fudge, LAP 25 was built on the foundation of scientific knowledge and coaching expertise acquired from decades of experience working with elite endurance athletes. Our name, LAP 25, symbolizes the final lap of a 10,000m race, where victory is often determined. We believe that success begins long before the race, with meticulous planning, determination, and relentless pursuit of excellence. We call the process “Own the Start Line”.
Dr. Barry Fudge has dedicated over 20 years working with elite athletes, coaches, and support staff. His credentials include Senior Physiologist, Head of Science, and Head of Endurance for the English Institute of Sport and British Athletics. He has supported athletes and teams as a Team Coach and Head Coach at 13 World Championships and 2 Olympic Games, helping them reach their maximum potential on the world stage. Dr. Fudge's passion for helping athletes and teams reach their full potential led him to create LAP 25 in 2013, with the goal of bringing world-class coaching and scientific support to runners around the globe.
