Landry first started riding as a 14 year old kid looking for a way to stay active. After barely surviving his first ride—a whopping 16 miles, he was hooked! One of the things Landry loved most about cycling was the sense of satisfaction gained from working hard and seeing improvements. This created a keen interest in training and nutrition that drove him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Conditioning and Training from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. Landry has experience racing as a junior all the way up to the elite categories and enjoys using his experience to help others achieve their goals. He is now working towards a Masters Degree in Exercise Science at Appalachian State University with an aim towards doing research in the field and working with elite athletes.
Landry believes in a holistic approach to training. In addition to prescribing workouts, Landry believes in the importance of a healthy mind and body. Landry ensures this by maintaining open communication with his athletes and making training plan adjustments as necessary in order to best meet the athletes schedule and other life obligations. He is also a big proponent of off the bike training as a means of performance enhancement, injury prevention, and whole-body health.
