I specialize in coaching beginner to competitive athletes from sprint distance to Ironman, from 5K to ultra marathon. I particularly enjoy working with first time Ironman and 70.3 finishers.
Fees are $200 per month for complete, custom training plans for triathlon, duathlon, running, and swimming. This includes unlimited email contact. All training programs are built from scratch to help each individual athlete achieve their goals.
My road to becoming a coach began with involvement in sports from an early age. I grew up swimming, running, playing soccer, and riding my bike everywhere. I ran NCAA Div. 1 Track and Cross Country for Wofford College, and began participating in triathlons in 1998. I was instantly hooked, and went on to compete at three Age Group World Championships before turning pro in 2004. I was fortunate to have some amazing experiences, including training at the US Olympic Training Center as part of the US Olympic Recruitment Program, racing in the German Triathlon Bundesliga, and training with Dave Scott in Boulder.
I retired from racing professionally in 2009 following a shoulder injury and became a USA Triathlon certified coach and started my own coaching business in 2010. Since then I have had the opportunity to work with athletes ranging from beginners to Age Group World Champions and to help them reach their goals. Some achievements for Ironworks Multisport athletes include finishes at Ironman Florida, Ironman South Africa, Ironman UK, Ironman Western Australia, Ironman Maryland, Ironman Lake Placid, Ironman Louisville, Ironman Chattanooga, and Challenge Roth, as well as many, many finishes at sprint, Olympic, and 70.3 races! I particularly enjoy guiding athletes to first time finishes in long distance races. Helping someone exceed their limits is what coaching is all about!
