Hi, I am Kylie, a sports physiotherapist. I have have helped athletes get back to peak performance from injuries. I have developed individual tailored, easy to follow programs for people of all abilities who want to improve their strength, running and sports performance whilst minimising the risks of injury.
I believe in a holistic approach to health and wellness, working within an integrative health approach to help athletes of all levels achieve their goals.
Kylie is an APA titled physiotherapist. New Zealand trained with over 15 years of experience. Her commitment to ongoing learning and development is demonstrated by her Postgraduate Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University. She also has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Otago. She has gone on to do various courses including her ASCA (Australian strength and condition level 1 coaching course).
Kylie has gained extensive experience in athlete injury management, bio-mechanical retraining and exercise-based rehabilitation through her many years of work in New Zealand, Doha, South Australia and Melbourne.
Kylie’s personal sporting history in running and strength training, combined with years of experience as a sports physiotherapist, underpins her understanding of not only her own health and wellbeing, but also that of ambitious athletes with specific sporting aspirations.
Running is a passion and special interest of Kylie’s. Her achievements in this field include completing marathons in both New Zealand and Australia, as well as several half marathons and 10km distances. Working with runners to achieve optional strength and performance has led her to helping several runners overcome injury and go onto perform at all levels.
