Movement is medicine. Sport helps us discover ourselves and live a fulfilling life.
I am passionate about helping beginner and intermediate athletes achieve their goals and develop a healthy, well-rounded relationship with their fitness, health and themselves.
Hello!
I am Kuba.
I am a father and a husband, an engineer, a nerd, and a triathlete.
I am also a USAT certified Level 1 and Training Peaks Level 1 coach.
Anything after "nerd" is not something that would ever appear to me not to long ago.
Up until my late twenties, I hated running. I was afraid of doing any exercise in public. I tried going to the gym and even saw some gains but never stuck with it. In my head I was sure that I was just not built to be fit. "I am just not a fit guy" was a defining thought for me.
Fast forward a few years, I was severely depressed, haven't exercised more than a week in years. My wife got us a stationary bike, and so it began. I went from not being able (or willing) to cycle more than 30 minutes, run more than 1 km or swim more than 50 meters to my first sprint triathlon, then olympic triathlon, half marathon, half ironman, marathon and training for full distance now. It was not easy or quick, but I have discovered the actual joy in moving and not caring if anybody is looking. I have actually experienced that movement is medicine.
Whether you are just starting (or are afraid to start, like I was) or are already hooked, I believe I can help you grow. I am a firm believer in mindfulness, science-driven training plans, paying attention to your body and challenging your own limits.
