Keld Thomsen, Age 45, done 29 Ironman around the world, PB 8.56.51, three times Hawaii Ironman 2013, 2016 & 2018. Qualified in Florida for Ironman Hawaii 2020.

Started Team Kona Spirit in 2013 and have delivered triathletes to Kona every year since.

Believe in "Hard work beat talent", but you have to train smart and have fun doing it.

I am a coach who embrace humor, personality, empathy, hard work and dedication in everything that I do, and that´s what I also aim to implement to my athletes.

I aim for higher goals and reach them !

I have worked with people for the last 25 years as a teacher for youngsters, as a guidance counselor for adults, as a leader in the organisation and as a provider for jobs for companies in Denmark.

Since 2011 I have trained and coached triathletes who´s goals has been to reach the highest level possible. It has been triathletes who wanted to do their first Ironman and wanted to loose 40 kg and it has been triathletes who wanted to build them self up to compete in Ironman Hawaii. All of them have reached their goals and many of them are members of Team Kona Spirit this day today.
