I coach endurance athletes in mountain biking, road, and gravel, with a focus on midlife athletes balancing training with family, work, and long-term health. My approach applies proven training principles in a human-centered way, emphasizing durability, consistency, and individualized support to build sustainable strength, endurance, and confidence.
I began cycling in 2000 on Northern Arizona University’s Division I collegiate team as a novice mountain biker and progressed to the professional level in cross-country mountain biking, earning Category 2 status on the road. My racing background spans endurance MTB (50- and 100-mile events), XTERRA, criteriums, time trials, stage races, hill climbs, cyclocross, and gravel.
I began coaching in 2004 as a mountain bike instructor at NAU and later led cycling and triathlon training in Hawaii, including mountain bike skills clinics for XTERRA athletes. In New York City, I built and directed programming within the cycling community through Women’s Cycling NYC and worked in the outdoor industry at REI, leading programs that supported rider development and community engagement.
Alongside endurance coaching, I’ve taught mountain bike skills both in clinics and through private instruction, working with riders to build confidence, control, and efficiency on the bike.
Since 2013, I’ve focused on one-on-one coaching, combining structured, data-informed training with close attention to the person behind the plan. My goal is to help athletes build lasting strength, resilience, and confidence both on and off the bike.
