I enjoy coaching half marathon to 100 mile distance. I really like coaching athletes who are thinking about training for their first ultra marathon.
In the bustling metropolis of New York City, I woke one morning to the sound of a car horn. It was truly the city that never sleeps. The big city lights had captured my attention many years ago, but by the fall of 2010, I'd become disenchanted and ready for a change. My life remained in the city, however, and I quickly found a solace, a peace, and a clarity in running that my previous endeavors had been unable to give me. I entered the Chicago Marathon the very next year - I'd become hooked. Since then I've run more than ten other Marathons including the New York City marathon (twice), the Lincoln Marathon, and the Walt Disney Marathon. Slowly, however, I transitioned into Ultra Running, and now my focus lies on ultramarathons. Over the years, I decided that a more serene environment and one that would lend itself more to my hobby would be better, so I relocated to beautiful Boulder, Colorado, where I frequently see and exercise with some of the best athletes in the country.
My ideal athletes are those who are motivated and excited to train for their first event - sharing the beauty of running and getting others hooked on it are the best part of the sport. I enjoy coaching any distance from half marathons to 100+mile races. I am well-versed in all aspects, from injury prevention to nutrition (both during the event to general diet and lifestyle recommendations for optimal performance). I love working with new athletes and am happy to run with local clients.
