I look to work with athletes with busy lives to maximize their training and recovery to meet their goals with maintaining family, work, and training balance.
Beginner or experienced athletes with event, training, or performance goals to balance with a busy personal life or recovering from injuries. I focus on balancing your "why" with good "principles" and a sustainable "process" for long-term success with short-term benefits
I love the process of learning, planning, and evaluating my endurance activities and goals and then creating a training framework that is provides the guidelines to keep on track as training progresses. I have had many set backs, injuries, and mentally getting over the unplanned obstacles, during both in an event and a training plan, and still achieving success. This experience leads to insights I can pass along while I work with athletes through their training.
Over the last decade I have really embraced the aspects of taking a big-picture look at my goals and use my geeky love of the amazing amount of data available to engineer training and recovery plans.
My methodology uses a combination of metrics-driven and athlete-feel. I focus on "W-P-P" - Your "Why" (why do you do this?), good training "Principles" (workload and rest/recovery), and a good and sustainable "Process" that leads to a balance your training to increase performance, recovery, and a better life.
