I am a runnerd! I'm a back-of-the-pack long-distance runner, happiest when I'm socializing and running with friends. I offer mostly run training plans, for those who are new to the sport and just want to try it out, all the way up to those running marathons and ultras. My plans always include strength training and cross-training because I believe in their value.
I've been running and biking for fitness off and on since high school. In grad school, though, was when I truly fell in love with running, as my time to "clear all the junk" out of my head. I'm accident- and injury-prone, so am fanatical about stretching and cross-training. While running remains my first and true love, it doesn't always love me back, and so I was overjoyed when training for my first 70.3 in 2017 to find that same meditative space in swimming as in running. I've been told that I am relentlessly cheerful and encouraging - and I can't wait share my passion for the sports with you.
