At Just Running the aim is to provide you with a tailor-made training plan which takes into account your specific athlete profile, commitments and race goals. The Training Peaks platform is utilised to monitor your workouts and communicate as you progress throughout the year. The approach adopted seeks to ensure that your health and well-being is always the top priority in training and should take precedence over a race. To achieve this correct periodisation and monthly adjustments to your training plan are taken into account. I have a background as a road, trail and mountain ultra runner with a passion for the science behind running and helping athletes to achieve their running goals. Having run and raced many events in South Africa and overseas I have gained valuable first-hand experience and knowledge of what it takes to train and compete in different types of running events. I have also had the privilege of managing a professional career against the demands training places on your body, therefore am well-placed to work with executives and other professionals who have limited time but still want to achieve the most out of their training.
