I offer cycling coaching to juniors of all levels, and intermediate or higher competitive cyclists looking to gain fitness, complete a dream event, or win their next big race. I am knowledgeable in training methods with heart rate and power, as well as human biomechanics, exercise physiology, and sports nutrition.
I am currently finishing my final semester at Oakland University and will have a BS in Health Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology at the end of the Fall. Before a handful of injuries, I used to race Junior and U23 XC mountain biking, and raced NUE 100 mile MTB races at a high level. I have collected several Michigan State championship titles across a few disciplines, a Midwest Regional championship title, as well as a USA National championship title. After shifting my focus in the last few years from racing to school, I have actually found more enjoyment in the training process, trying to make use of what limited time I have as efficiently as possible. I have recently started to train junior athletes, and my desire to make training as enjoyable and efficient as possible has helped them achieve race results they were hoped for while still making the process fun and flexible.
