I'm an endurance coach based in Wanaka, New Zealand. I have a Bachelor of Physical Education degree from the University of Otago- majoring in Exercise Prescription and Management. My programs are written from a sports science perspective, which I then fit to your lifestyle in order to get the most effective training program specifically for YOU.
I have 16 years of coaching experience, where I have worked with beginners through to NZ age-group reps.
My passion has always been health, fitness, movement, adventuring and competing in events. In recent years family has taken priority over training and competing but I still make sure I take time most days for a run, ride, swim or strength session. I decided to put my Bachelor of Physical Education degree to good use- along with my racing and training experience and started my coaching career in January 2009. Since then, I've worked with hundreds of athletes to get them over the finish line, whether that be their first 5km run, half ironman or triathlon world champs.
I love the challenge of coaching- constantly trying to get the best out of each athlete/client, and extending their knowledge, physical and mental abilities while working towards their goals.
I have a BPhEd & BA.
