Past my prime, but not past my time.
Felt I needed a strong and cheeky start. Is it possible to write anything remotely interesting in these settings?
I coach runners and hobby joggers. My runners run as much as they enjoy, they do some strength training and they race a lot (for fun). Some want to get as good as they possibly can, and some want to be social and create great memories. But every single one puts their health and family first, and running second.
Running can be a bitch, but it can also be quite fun. Another strong start?
I've been coaching people 1 on 1 for about 15 years now, but never enjoyed it as much as I am now. Despite running dominating my whole week, I do (as I expect of my runners) obviously put my family and myself first, which influences my coaching.
Working out for health reasons might not be everyone first reason for running, but we still have to plan the training around everything else that happens in our life. That doesn't mean you can't prioritize running before anything else, but everything else you do creates stress you (most times) can't control.
So we plan around, auto regulate workouts after your daily form and make changes on the fly as life happens.
