Running coaching from 800m- Marathon. As a former 5k Rio Olympian and exercise physiology Master alumni, I am happy to help you with your running goals. Due to a lot of injuries in my running career my program provides you not only with your individual running program, but also with prehab and strength programs focussing on your weaknesses. My focus is always to keep my athletes injury free and to provide them with training programs that fit their needs and their daily demands.
Born in 1991 in Vienna, moved to the country side when I was 5 and found my passion for running when I was 11. I was always the fasters kid at school and soon started to race at some small races. I competed at my first austrian championship at the age of 15 and immediately won. From the time I started running I was interested in how coaching works and what I could improve to make me a better athlete. My running career peaked in 2015 and 2016 with making the final at both World Championships and Olympics in 5k and running a PB of 15:16,12. Unfortunately many injuries stopped further improvements. Retiring in Feb 2018, I started foucssing on finishing my Exercise Physiology Masters degree, my Master thesis was focusing on "Stress related injuries in runners". I now work in Sports therapy and coaching young talented runners in a high performance school.
My coaching philosophy is to always try to keep my athletes healthy and injury free and to make them well balanced and strong athletes - not only runners!
For me, communication between coach and athlete is a crucial point in the athlete/coach relationship and I love to get feedback from my athletes on how they feel and how the training went.
