With over fifteen years of endurance coaching experience, Jenna brings a wide scope of knowledge to her athletes who are training for the first time or looking to achieve a personal best and beyond. Training programs typically progress 10-15% in volume/intensity each week with recovery weeks as needed. Each client's individual needs, experience, schedule and goals are considered and evaluated during the entire training process and plan creation. Athletes can expect a complete custom experience.
Jenna is the founder and lead of Iron North Studio (est. 2015), an independent multi-discipline boutique fitness studio in Ottawa, Canada. Early on she had a knack for endurance sports and succeeded as a runner in amateur long distance events both a school and recreationally.
In 2009 she was offered the opportunity to pursue a professional long-distance running career but declined the opportunity as she saw a future as a full-time coach. Shortly after she had established her career and became an accredited endurance coach and independent personal trainer specializing in endurance, pre/post-partum, mobility/recovery and Olympic lifting.
By 2023 Jenna has competed and coached around the world in over 150 long distance events from Ironman triathlon to ultra obstacle courses. She continues to lead her team and clients at Iron North while simultaneously coaching endurance athletes virtually from around the world.
When she's not running her business or coaching, she spends much of her spare time with family, friends and her young son. Becoming a mother and balancing athletic goals and a career had proved challenging for Jenna. As a consequence, she invites athletes from all-walks of life to pursue their endurance goals, no matter the obstacles ahead. She provides a safe and compassionate space for her clients to discuss their personal lives, commitments and challenges while they chip away at any swim, bike, run or strength goal, together.
