I am a UESCA certified coach and have personally done well at most distances from 50k up to multi day FKTs. Last year athletes I coach were on the podiums from distances ranging from 50k up to 200 milers. My coaching approach is based on personalization and communication. Some athletes want to maximize the ability to ski in the winter, and we work around that so that running and training is never a hindrance. From race strategy to nutrition experimentation, I love the problem solving side of coaching and finding what is going to be the right fit with each athlete in order to hit the goals they are looking for. Trail running and racing should be fun, and my approach is to keep it that way, with a little added structure to successfully hit athlete's goals.
