Professional and tailored coaching & programming to suit your needs!
I thrive on my athletes' achievements & believe the coach-athlete relationship is key to your success. I'm a keen amateur triathlete (Kona finisher 2019) as well as triathlon coach and PE teacher. I'm honoured to have been Triathlon Victoria's 2018 Coach of the Year. Expertise incl multiple AG World Champs triathletes, Juniors (Head Coach SSV Triathlon), Paratriathlon & amateur triathletes, runners & cyclists of all abilities.
I've been a triathlete since 2013 and have been coaching endurance sports since 2017. I have achieved moderate success as an athlete (5km run 16:24; Ironman 9:28) and the consistent effort and dedication this required has put me in good stead to coach other athletes through a lens of long-term fitness & skill development.
I pride myself on a high level of technical knowledge which extends to the training & skill demands of endurance sports, physiology, nutrition, aerodynamics and female-specific training requirements.
Coupled with this knowledge, I understand that our training does not occur in a vacuum and needs to fit the context of our lives. I coach athletes from developing junior athletes navigating school and work, to uni students, busy parents & business owners and older athletes. My coaching approaches and training programs vary for each of these people to suit their needs.
While a structured program is important, I also provide support to my athletes in regards to time & stress management, motivation, prioritisation and the big one: education. I take it as a complement when an athlete says they no longer need my services. My role as a coach is to help athletes to develop and grow; when I do this well there will always be a point where athletes gain competence and confidence in continuing independently or with other coaches.
I encourage you to get in touch with me so we can each determine whether my skills and attributes are a good fit for your needs.
