Former Tour de France rider and SA National Champion, Jaco Venter, is a homegrown hero that has raced and excelled at the pinnacle of International Road Racing.

From 2007 to 2019, Jaco was a professional road cyclist, predominantly abroad, racing on the UCI World Tour circuit for Team Dimension Data and, before that, Team MTN Qhubeka.

Jaco has raced all three Grand Tours and all five Monuments and was crowned the South African Elite men’s road race champion in 2016. Now retired from international cycling, Jaco has turned his attention to MTB and giving back to the sport that has brought him fulfilment throughout his career.
