Jacob is an exercise physiologist with more than 12 years of experience working in the professional training and coaching industry. He is highly skilled in coaching and training within endurance sports, with a strong background as road cycling, cyclocross and mountainbike coach. Jacob is coaching athlethes of alle levels and all ages, paying great attention to the coach-athlete relation, the personal needs of an athlete and combining this with a highly scientific training approach.

Jacob has been working as a cycling, cyclocross and mountainbike coach for more than 12 years, and is the owner and headcoach of the company Endura Consulting. He is working with individual athletes from elite level to beginners and is a coach consultant for the elite-groups in some of the biggest mountainbike clubs in Denmark.

Jacob has a strong educational background with a master gerees in Physical Education and Sports, with special focus on exercise physiology, training and training planning, fatique and overreaching, metabolism and nutrition. His master thesis was about recovery in elite cyclist after high intensity interval or steady state endurance ride with different recovery drinks.
He is highly experienced with physical performance testning, working in a testlab for 5 years, conducting about 100 cycling performance tests annually. He has the knowledge to interpretet data from test, training and competition and use it to optimize training and performance.

Jacob has a strong theoretical and practical knowledge on functional strength training and nutrititon, as he ses it as a very important aspect of a good training plan for road cycling, mountainbiking, cyclocross and gravel.
He is a former elite mountainbiker with many years of experience within training and the life as an elite athlete. This is giving him a great understanding of what it takes physically and mentally to be a highly motivated and serious athlete.
