Jack is a CASES accredited Sport & Exercise Scientist and specialist coach for Zwift cyclists and rowers, with over 10 years' experience as an exercise physiologist with British Rowing and the UK Sports Institute. He holds a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science and an MSc in Applied Sport & Exercise Physiology, and was shortlisted for the UK Sport Support Staff of the Year Award in 2023.

Jack builds individualised, structured training plans for indoor cyclists and rowers, using the same evidence-led approach he applied working with Olympic-level athletes. He holds TrainingPeaks coaching certifications, has completed a cycling physiology course through the Sports Science Institute of South Africa, and an advanced cycling coaching course through the UCI and University of Lausanne.

At British Rowing, Jack supported athletes from developing juniors to Olympians, using data, training monitoring, and performance testing to guide decisions and keep training consistent. One standout project: helping a senior athlete return to training postpartum in time for Paris 2024.

Central to Jack's coaching is progressive overload built around the individual -training that's structured, monitored, and genuinely adapts to the athlete, not a generic plan. He's particularly skilled at building race-specific preparation, whether that's an ergometer test, a road race, or a Zwift event.
