Hi, I am Keith Murray, I am a running coach who specializes in ultra running, marathons, and halfs. I am also a Ironman coach working with others racing the 140.6 & 70.3 distances. I am relatively new to triathlon, starting in 2015 in the sport, going from sprint to Ironman in 3 months time frame. I started coaching runners in 2013 officially. I love long distance racing and ultra's.
Hi, I love to run. I started running in 1978 pacing my cousin who was a football star. I then had my 1st coach in 1979 who was also my big brother, he taught me to take care of myself and I learned all about pacing myself and building endurance. I continued to run most of my life, mostly to stay in shape for hunting and guiding. I loved the mountains and outdoors, so trail running was next up. I have a passion for running and then I fell in love with Ironman. Crossing the Ironman finish line was just AWESOME! Doing it with my own training and the help of my swim teacher Kim, and my friends and Saratoga Tri Club & Team In Training just beyond great.
I was a running coach for 9 seasons with Team In Training, I am a RRCA certified running coach, I am a Ironman certified coach, Taken many nutrition courses, Was a sponsored athlete with Hammer Nutrition, and a mentor with Fleet-Feet. I have 27 marathons and ultra's under my race belt, 2 full Ironman's completed at Lake Placid, several 70.3's, and some sprints. Also way over a 100 other running races of all distances. I am constantly learning and will continue to do so. I am a very hard worker and I put my athlete's first.
