Having started my coaching career at British Cycling in 2002, I have gone on to work for the Queensland Academy of Sport and Cycling Australia, Cycling Canada and the Japanese Cycling Federation.

My experience in recent years is firmly in the area of track endurance, leading Canada and Japan to many successes that have included:

  • UCI World Championship top-5 results
  • 8 UCI Track World Cup medals
  • 9 Continental Championship gold medals
  • medals at Commonwealth, Pan American and Asian Games

Despite the recent focus, I have extensive experience working with road cyclists, especially in the area of U23. I have overseen the training and preparation of many athletes who have excelled and enjoyed multiple successes at elite level UCI road competition's around the world including Europe and North America. My athlete's have gone on to place successfully at UCI Road World Championship's and in more recent years, he has overseen the development of emerging U23 talent in to UCI World Tour professional's.

With a strong academic back ground and international experience and skills, I set up BNE Performance to help riders like you to become the best that you can be. I'll work with you to develop personal goals to achieve your peak levels of performance at key events that matter to you.
