I believe athletes can be both STRONG and FAST.
My training intention is always to get faster without losing strength, and get stronger without losing speed. Then I put it all together to make a legit hybrid athlete who can do it all. My training plans will set you up to succeed in all of these spaces.
I love fitness at the intersection of running and strength.
My goal has always been to be as fast as possible AND as strong as possible.
I grew up running Cross Country at a top level high school, and have always loved running. But I was always the biggest athlete; weighing nearly 50lbs more than the other varsity athletes on my team. Our team raced in the State Championships multiple years, and we took 3rd place overall my senior year.
I also played basketball, and loved building strength in the weight room. When I found hybrid racing after college, it was the best of both worlds. I qualified for the Hyrox World Championships in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
I've competed in four Hyrox Doubles races, and two Individual Hyrox races (1 Pro). I broke the 60 min barrier in Hyrox Doubles in 2022 & learned lots of doubles-racing strategy in the process.
