Michelle is a USA Triathlon Level I certified coach. She has her Masters degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. Prior to coaching, Michelle worked as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist for 10 years.
Michelle has had a successful career as a triathlete. She has completed three Ironman triathlons. She ranked 33rd overall for the females at Ironman Tahoe in 2013. She also qualified and raced at the 70.3 Ironman World Championships in 2014. She was All American for 2 straight years (2013, 2014).
Her latest and biggest achievement in 2015 was becoming a mom. Becoming a mom has better helped Michelle to understand the importance of the balance between training and family life.
