Jonathan Harris USAT Level 1 Coach
Jonathan has over 8 years of experience as a RRCA/USTF running coach. He has worked with all levels of runners from middle school to elite distance runners. understanding that every runner he works with has different abilities and needs. He believes to be an effective runner you have to be an efficient runner, focusing on form and technique to utilize each runners strength and to maximize their performance.
Jonathan who is from Houston Tx, did not grow up a runner, but played baseball and football. He much like other people didn't start running until later in life. The fact that he couldn't run a half mile without stopping prompted him to start running and doing research on how to become a better runner. After running numerous races ranging from local 5ks to ultramarathons, including a 3:12 marathon PR and BQ, Jonathan started doing triathlons and has never looked back. He loves the challenge of putting three sports together and challenging not only your physical but mental being.
Jonathan is also a AFAA Certified Personal trainer with specialties in TRX, Kettlebells and functional dynamics. Someone not known for sitting still, he also coaches his son's Cross country and track teams.
