This is the highest level of TrainingPeaks accreditation. Level 2 coaches have completed TrainingPeaks University and have demonstrated their ability to utilize metrics in TrainingPeaks. They can provide you with the expert instruction and feedback you need to achieve your goals.

My philosophy is simple: your training should evolve along with you. While many coaches design plans for a median runner, I treat each athlete as an N-of-1. We’ll analyze your running DNA—not just your 10k pace, but how you respond to stress, recover from intensity, and adapt to volume—then develop a unique plan.

I’m Heyward Hart, a certified running coach passionate about helping people push their limits and find joy in the journey. As a student of the sport, I love digging into training theory and crafting individualized programs that bring out each athlete’s best. In addition to UESCA and TrainingPeaks certifications, I’ve completed UC Boulder’s Science of Exercise course and always keep up with the latest developments in evidence-based training.
My own running journey began with training for a local trail half-marathon, sparking a lifelong passion. Within a year, I completed my first 50K and started competing seriously. Recent achievements include a top-ten finishes at UTMB’s Grindstone 50K, the Sean O’Brien 50 Miler, and Flagstaff Crest 39.
