This is the highest level of TrainingPeaks accreditation. Level 2 coaches have completed TrainingPeaks University and have demonstrated their ability to utilize metrics in TrainingPeaks. They can provide you with the expert instruction and feedback you need to achieve your goals.

Since 2004, I have helped athletes of all ages & abilities with running from sprints to Ultramarathon distance and triathletes for sprint distance to Ironman. I am certified USA Track & Field Level 2, USA Triathlon Level 1, and Road Runner Club of America Level 2.
I was a swimmer in my youth but started running as an adult when I certified as a youth soccer referee. That led to running to maintain my own fitness then to my certification as a coach. My training focuses on getting you time at Lactate Threshold, regardless of race distance. That make you a faster, more economical runner. Longer, easy level of effort workouts will include portions at race day level of effort for your upcoming event. I have used pace, HRM, and power meter (for bike or run) as indicators of level of effort. My athletes have been successful with training that introduces faster speed/pace work early in the training while building aerobic conditioning with increased volume and frequency week over week.
My personal trainer education allows me to include flexibility and core strength workouts for all athletes. Flexibility minimizes the incidents of soft tissue injury and core strength training helps you hold form in the later stages of the race.
