Since 2004, I have been helping athletes of all ages & abilities in sprint to Olympic distance Triathlon and sprints to Ultramarathon distance running events. I was a competitive swimmer from 6th grade through college and started racing running events over 20 years ago. I offer personalized training for runners and triathletes based on your current level of fitness, time availability to train and your goals. I am USAT & USATF Level I , as well as RRCA & US Soccer certified coach.
I was a swimmer in my youth but started running as an adult when I certified as a soccer referee. I first certified with Road Runners Club of America, then USA Track and Field as a Level 1 coach and USA Triathlon Level 1.
My training focuses on getting you time at Lactate Threshold, regardless of triathlon discipline or running race distance. Longer, easy level of effort workouts will include portions at race pace for your upcoming event. My athletes have been successful with training that introduces faster speed/pace work early in the training while building aerobic conditioning with increased volume and frequency week over week. For triathletes, training includes "transition repeats" to improve overall time by saving time in T1 and T2.
