She focuses on creating schedules to work with an athlete's lifestyle, rather than against it.
Heidi has been a triathlete since 2010 and has raced in all distances from sprint to Ironman. She remembers what it is like to start from scratch and learn to run and has worked her way up to competing in long distance events. She grew up as a ballet dancer but eventually left that and decided to swim competitively for her high school. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon but didn’t take advantage of the running atmosphere while there. It was after college where she began to run with her dog and appreciate the small successes along the way.
She lives in the Portland, Oregon area after an 8 year stretch of living in Texas. She lives with her husband who is also a triathlete and their two dogs and one cat. Exercise is a family affair as the dogs are also avid runners. Most of their vacations revolve around races and they enjoy meeting up with friends from different parts of the country.
Heidi is a USAT Level 1 and US Masters Level 2 coach and is working towards her Masters in Kinesiology from Texas Womens University. She is dedicated to continuing her education and bringing the best practices to her athletes. She has a solid foundation in education and triathlon experience.
Heidi coaches athletes of all abilities and skill levels. Whether you are training for your first 5k or if you are a season Ironman athlete, she has you covered.
