Athletes who work with a coach are more likely to see progress and goal achievement than athletes who train on their own. During your free consultation, we’ll identify what’s holding you back and goals you’d like to achieve. Then we go to work putting a plan in place to get you to your dreams. Heather’s philosophy of progressing an athlete at their individual pace effectively creates a plan based on metrics but grounded by lifestyle. Each athlete has a path and no two are alike!

Bio

Heather’s background in swimming competitively from age 6 under the direction of Olympic coaches Richard Quick and David Marsh led her to triathlon at the age of 14 in her first relay race with her Dad and best friend. Her passion for endurance sports continued and has been her profession for over 10 years. Heather worked for Alabama State University as assistant strength and conditioning coach for their Division I football, tennis and volleyball teams after receiving her license as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Her deep rooted love for triathlon led her to becoming a USA Triathlon and USA Cycling coach in 2012. She now coaches full-time for Balanced Art Multisport and leads strength training and Computrainer classes at the BAM Training Center. Heather uses a holistic approach to coaching athletes through the use of corrective exercise, individually designed training plans and mental skills training.
