Greg Godley (Level 2 British Triathlon coach) has a background in science education and brings his keen scientific interest into coaching. He has a passion for longevity and the role that endurance sports and strength training have to play in this. After starting to race triathlon in 2019, Greg was quickly fascinated with the physiology of training and soon moved into coaching to support others with the knowledge that he had gained.
Personal achievements include:
Racing at the Ironman World Championships in 2022 in Kona after qualifying at Ironman Bolton
Third in the Double Brutal 2022 (double Ironman distance)
First in the Brutal 50 Ultra 2022
First in Salisbury Plains 50 Ultra 2021
He has coached a wide range of athletes across the endurance sports spectrum, including those preparing for long distance triathlons, a middle distance triathlon winner, marathon runners, an Epic Swims triple crown winner and veterans preparing to ride LEJOG!
