Vincent Gleeson is a cycling coach (Cycling Ireland Level 1 Coach). He has 30+ years of experience of road racing, 20+ years of balancing work and family with competing and 10+ years of coaching a wide range of cyclists for leisure, racing, time-trials and triathlon.

I have been involved with cycling all my life. That started out fixing bikes in my dad's bike shop and seeing my first bike race when I was 6. I have been road racing since I was 10. I've competed with Irish teams and raced abroad. I've coached and managed racing teams. I have an interest in metrics and got into training and testing riders with heart rate monitors and power meters early.
