I'm first and foremost a loving father, then a failed athlete turned coach. I'm also a master's degree student studying performance optimization with a focus on Elite Sport. I work every day at being humble, curious and helpful.
I coach endurance athletes in person or remotely, I work with other experts in nutrition, sports psychology, strength and conditioning, biomechanics, testing to try and deliver a holistic service to the athletes I work with.
I believe in the capability, resourcefulness, and potential that lies within each and every individual. I think it's important to coach the whole person (body and mind) and create an environment where the athlete feels safe to be their authentic self. I believe the athlete has an expert knowlege of themselves and encourage them to to be an active participant in their own coaching. This means I give the athlete a lot of choice with the content of training and see my job as supporting the athlete and trying to make our process a little easier for the athlete. Using training methods which are evidence lead and based on good science is fundamental too my coaching.
I'm currently a master's degree student studying sport science at Mid Sweden University. I have a bachelor's degree in Sports Coaching from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Science.
I have coached endurance athletes for the last six years and also worked as volunteer with Finnish Cycling's U19 and U23 national road cycling teams.
