I bring the perspective of a former professional triathlete, with career highlights including European 70.3 Champion in 2021, a PTO/T100 medal and a 7:47 Ironman debut. Alongside several years of coaching experience working with beginners up to athletes competing at WTCS level, I have worked with world-class coaches in my career. I now use this depth of knowledge and experience to help athletes perform at their best while continuing to enjoy their sport.
I have been involved in triathlon since the age of 10 and quickly realised it was what I wanted to pursue professionally. I progressed through British Triathlon’s academy system and the Youth and Junior elite racing series.
I chose to pursue this pathway at university, moving to the University of Stirling to study Sport and Exercise Science while training within one of the UK’s leading elite performance centres. I gained invaluable experience working alongside and learning from world-class athletes and coaches. At 21 I made the decision to move away from the Olympic pathway and focus on professional non-drafting and 70.3 racing.
This decision proved successful, with multiple podiums and victories at the 70.3 distance in my early professional years. As my career progressed, I was able to apply my sports science background to support my own development and work collaboratively with my coaches.
Career highlights include a third-place finish at the inaugural PTO 100km Championships in Daytona in 2020 (now the T100 Series), becoming European 70.3 Champion in 2021 and an Ironman debut of 7:47 in 2024.
Coming through the performance pathway and working with a wide range of coaches has shaped my coaching philosophy. I aim to balance evidence-based training with an appreciation for the natural environment, ensuring training is purposeful and enjoyable. Having retired from professional racing at the end of 2024, I now work in bike fitting in Richmond, London.
