Nothing is more rewarding than setting yourself a personal goal and achieve it. However, for me, despite being very important, triathlon is not only about the results but a means to a better and healthier life and being a role model for my children. My vision is to stay healthy and competitive and race as an age-grouper in the unforeseeable future.
I finished my first 70.3/half IM distance race in 2010 and immediately fell in love with the sport. Triathlon is a young and fast growing sport here in Iceland and I have been fortunate to coach many athletes here in Iceland both for my club Ægir3 and individuals through Trainingpeaks. My athlete range is from beginners to multiple domestic podium finishers, an AG IM 70.3 champion and an Ironman and 70.3 world championship qualifiers.
