Gerardo’s mission in life is to encourage and motivate people to live a full life of activity and goals, which strengthen the mind, body, and spirit. He started running in 2003 and after countless hours of running and cross-training in the pool and bike, triathlon was the next natural step. Gerardo has finished over 90 triathlons since 2004, including 25 half-ironmans, IM W. Australia in 2005, IM Brazil in 2010, IM Mt. Tremblant in 2012, and IM Lake Tahoe in 2013, Boulder in 2015 and IM Santa Rosa in 2017. In 2007, 2013, and 2017 he qualified for the Ironman World Championship 70.3. Gerardo is also a 6 time Boston Marathon Qualifier. Gerardo's education background allows him to transcend his passion and love of teaching to his clients.
